The English Advantage is a company that was born from a long cherished dream which became a reality in July 2012 . Since then we have come a long way training and teaching students, teachers and adult learners from all walks of life.

We specialize in training candidates to take proficiency exams as well, in order to fortify them with international and national qualifications that are mapped to the CEFR , U.K. TEA boasts of enrolling the highest number of candidates in all of South Asia in the last three years.

Our training is system oriented and tailor made to suit every individual’s style of learning and learners’ needs. It is a constant endeavour to keep our training and methodologies in sync with current practices.

Our Director -
Mr. John D’Souza

Mr. John D’Souza has a record of serving in the banking Industry for over 2 decades. His passion for teaching language made him give up banking to pursue a career in teaching the English language.

John holds a Diploma in TESOL from Trinity College London (LTCL). He has completed his M.A. in ELT from PSTU, Hyderabad. In addition, he is C2 proficient in English and has been an examiner on the panel of Trinity College London as a Speaking Examiner.

He is the Director of The English Advantage, an Authorized Exam Centre for Cambridge, TOEFL, Skills for English (SELT and Global), LanguageCert (IESOL and SELT), GRE, Pearson’s VUE, and PSI Online. In the last three years, John has been able to establish centres in Baroda, Ahmedabad and Jodhpur.

Mr D’Souza, himself, is involved in the teaching-learning process and trains students and teachers alike. He is backed by a suitably qualified team of 25+ trainers who specialize in English language training. He has over 6 years’ experience as an Examiner with Trinity College London and 15 years’ experience as a trainer for General English and Teacher Training.
